Trading in books

mold-in-books3

#1 Rule for trading in books at my bookstore (and any bookstore)

Do not bring in books that are water-damaged or have water on them. They will develop book mold. Book mold spreads faster than cancer. The spores can infect everything near to them, including other books.

I got in books just now stored in a bag that was full of water. Guy thought they would be okay because “they were only just placed in the bag today.”

Um, no. Just no.

I’m not trying to be crabby, I’m trying to save all the other books in the store. Think of it like an STD. We need to stop it at its source before it spreads.
