A first edition of a real children’s classic: the 1966 Scholastic paperback, The Carrot Seed, by Ruth Krauss and illustrated by Crockett Johnson (Harold and the Purple Crayon).
This is in remarkable condition with no tears or soiling at all. There is some sun damage from shelving on the thin spine and back cover (illustrations are on front and back cover, too!).
This is a seriously charming book and a real collector’s item in this shape.
