LEAVING TIME, by Jodi Picoult – Our own local bestselling author, Jodi Picoult has given us another beautiful novel, this time about a woman’s search for the truth in her mother’s mysterious accident and disappearance.
THE PARIS ARCHITECT, by Charles Belfoure – which I’ve been pushing for a while now. I got more copies, because I just can’t say enough good things about this bestselling book.
PRINCE LESTAT, by Anne Rice – Yes, Anne Rice has a new Lestat book out, and we have it!
THE EYE OF ZOLTAR, by Jaspar Fforde – The long-awaited third book in the Chronicles of Kazam series. I’ve personally been reading these, and they’re hysterical. I adore them.
THE SONG OF THE QUARKBEAST, by Jaspar Fforde – now in trade paperback, the second of the series mentioned just above. (The first is The Last Dragonslayer, and yes, we have that in stock, too!)
THE ACCIDENTAL HIGHWAYMAN, by Ben Tripp – “Being the tale of Kit Bristol, His Horse Midnight, A Mysterious Princess, and Sundry Magical Persons Besides.” If you love Neil Gaiman’s more magical YA books and The Princess Bride by William Goldman, this is the book for you.
WRITTEN IN MY OWN HEART’S BLOOD, by Diana Gabaldon – which we’ve had here for a while, but for some reason people haven’t noticed. This is the latest of her OUTLANDER books, and yes, is in hardcover, and will be until spring of 2015, but is sooooo worth the price! What a great Christmas present this would be!
